Tailgating Detection
Every scan at your door lets one person in. Veyla Protect tells you when it was two.
Stop Paying for the People Who Don’t Pay
Tailgating is a security problem and a revenue leak. A member scans, holds the door, and a mate walks in behind them. Someone inside pushes the door open for a friend. Your access control system logged one entry. Your club just hosted two.
Veyla Protect is the tailgating and let-in detection system built for 24/7 gyms and unstaffed sites. A Veyla camera inside the door and a small AI server on site watch every entry and match what the camera sees against what your reader recorded. When the numbers don’t line up, you know within seconds.
- Tailgating alerts: two or more people through on a single scan
- Let-in alerts: the door opened from the inside with no scan at all
- Every alert comes with the clip and the member whose scan opened the door
- Works with your existing readers, membership system and door hardware
- Alerts to your phone through the Veyla app; review and dismiss in seconds
- Installed, commissioned and supported by Centrefit’s licensed team
Three Parts, One Answer
The Scan
A member scans at your reader like they do today. Your reader or membership system already knows who that is, and Veyla keeps that name with the entry.
The Camera
A Veyla camera watches the door from inside. The on-site AI server counts who actually came through on that scan, and keeps one short clip of the entry.
The Alert
Two people on one scan, or a door pushed open from inside, and the alert lands on your phone with the clip, the time and the door. No more guessing from the sign-in log.
Not the Way You’re Thinking
Your Reader Knows Who Scanned
Veyla takes the name from the scan your access control already recorded. Nobody is enrolled, and there is no face database.
One Capture Per Entry
A short clip of the entry is kept with the event so you can see exactly what happened, then it ages out.
Let-ins Get a Name Too
When a door is opened from the inside, Veyla matches the opener against who is in the club and gives you a confidence on who it was.
Built for Doors That Run Without Staff
24/7 Gyms
Overnight and early-morning entries are where tailgating happens. Protect watches the door when nobody else is.
Studios and Reformer Rooms
Benefit-gated doors inside the club. Know who used the room and who was let in on someone else’s membership.
Multi-site Operators
One dashboard across every club. See which sites leak the most, and which members keep holding the door.
